Tour to Meeras Mahal and Pariaspora
On January 3rd, 2022 IFED organized this year’s first educational tour to Hokersar Wetland, Srinagar, and Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora. A group of 43 students accompanied and indulged in beneficial activities like-
- Bird watching was followed by a discussion with research scholars at Hokersar. They discussed different inhabitant and migratory birds. The medicinal value of the wetland’s plants was also taught to the students.
- At the Islamic University, students took a tour to its mechanical lab where the lab expert familiarised them with the machines and their working.
- Along with exploring the campus, students were taken to the famous Rumi library which proved to be a source of inspiration to many.
